Having had various roles including CNC Siding head setter/programmer , manufacture engineer , apprentice assessor / trainer.

A qualified apprentice assessor

I enjoy playing golf ,watching and going to the football.

Working alongside Alan and our team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the business – With a focus more on production & efficiency.

Started my career as a trainee sliding head machinist at Bonspiel Engineering in Dundee

Progressing through to shop floor supervisor and then Production Engineer .

Held various engineering roles all within Scotland before going on to start up A&C Precision Engineering alongside friend and business partner Alan Ramsay

Just a CNC machinist at heart who has done well in life.. that’s how I see it anyway

I suppose Starting up and running a successful engineering business for the last 7 years is my best accomplishment.

Love spending time with my family & friends

My other love is being up in the hills riding my mountain bike and if I’m not doing that I’m usually talking about doing just that

Production Manager

Day to day planning for machines and setters, programming and setting machines, training apprentices, maintenance, sourcing tooling.

Served time doing a bit of everything from milling, turning, fabrication and building machinery ranging from sack printers to potato planters.

Over 20 years experience on sliding head machines.

Likes- walking, cycling and spending time with family.

Worked in banking and investments for many years before joining the team at  A&C.
